annhig, here is their site:

I stayed at the Neumarkt, Munzgasse, and Altes Dresden properties. Liked them all, but Altes Dresden was the best. Amazing views of the Frauenkirche, esp from the units on the higher floor. IMO, you cannot have a better location in historic Dresden. The Am Schloss is their newest property and is right next to the glam and very highly reviewed Swissotel. Still in the heart of the historic district, but I don't think the units have views of the Frauenkirche except maybe on the top floor(s). OTOH, this is the newest and swankiest of their aparthotels.

I've stayed at the Altes Dresden twice, including my 4-week stay in December 2011 (sure beat the Goethe Institut student housing!). Would stay there again in a heartbeat. However, the living rooms in the units I saw had only love seats instead of sofas. Their units are also showing some signs of wear and tear. Didn't bother me but the most finicky might object.

I think there is some parking but it's very limited. I don't have a car, so it's not an issue. Also, for an extra fee, pretty modest, you can use the pool and exercise equipment at the Hilton on the square.

Vielen Dank, WT. We only stayed one night in Dresden about 2 years ago, and it wasn't anywhere near long enough.
