Would a water taxi be our only option?
We're leaving from Hilton Molino Stucky for an 11:30 am flight to NYC. It looks like the hotel's shuttle doesn't start running until 7am, and with timing, we're not sure we can catch the earliest Aliliguna at 7:32. And, if we miss that one, we wouldn't get to the airport until almost 9:30. I know we're supposed to allow 3 hours. Is there any other option?

For that matter, you could just take a vaporetto to either Zattere or S Zaccaria (whichever /boatdirection comes first) and catch the Alilaguna from one of those stops. Catch an 82, 41, 42 or even a night boat(N).

We flew out of Venice last Sept. We had a 10am taxi pickup and a 1:40 flight. The airport checkin line was very very long and took at least an hour and a half. The security check was not so long. So please make every attempt not to shortcut the arrival time.
