Sorry about your trip. What I have learned when I started travelling a few years ago is to NEVER forget (1) my multivitamine (2) my calcium supplements to keep the bones in my legs going strong (3) Peptobismol for my rather moody stomach (4) good ol' ibuprofen (5) Emergen-C (1000mg Vit C that came in packets like KoolAid). And guess what, I always used at least 4 out of the 5 things listed above. When I went to Indonesia for 3 wks in December, I was sick like a dog for 2.5 wks and literally coughed my lung out. And when I spent a week in NYC this past Easter, yeah it rained a few days, and I was so sick to my stomach one evening that my girlfriends ended up watching Sex and the City reruns while I was sleeping. But I would go back to both places in a heartbeat :) It's just a part of travelling -you just need to get back on the horse and keep on riding! |
My goodness, h2babe, you "literally" coughed your lung out? Were you able to get someone to put it back in?
