World Cup Germany
Being the one year anniversary of my monster trip, and of course by perusing this site yet again, I now need to scratch another itch: WORLD CUP 2006.
Does anyone have any info (other then the lovely WC site telling me "NO LOSER...tickets are unavailable...prepare years in advance next time." (Ok, so that's not really the case...but you get the point). I think it would be so cool to be in Germany this summer for the WC and am looking for a way to get myself a couple of tickets. Any help would be appreciated. |
Try this website: http://www.germany-tourism.de/ENG/cu...ldcup_2006.htm. I don't know if it's the "No Loser" site you're referring to. Any games involving Germany, France, England, Italy etc. will be tough to get.

Thanks...that site connects you to the "loser site." LOL...oh well, the search continues. I dont care what game I go to...just to be there will be a highlight (soccer is in my Top 6 for sports I love).
Any other help, as Bird's was, is appreciated. I have found some broker sites...but they are RIP OFFS!!! |
I hate to say this, but... I have a couple of friends who are hedge funders (thus, basically unlimited amounts of cash to spend) and even *they* cannot secure tickets (at least tickets for the games the want to see). So, unless you are somehow connected to a player, you're SOL.... sorry....

Yeah...that is what I am running into. I even contacted an acquaintance who has a friend at US Soccer...no luck.
No player relation for me. If this was the Woman's World Cup I could try to use my NYC wits, boyish charm, and, as Napolean Dynamite put it, skills to try and woo a ticket out of one of the players. ;) Nope, I dont think that would work... |
Uhm.... perhaps that might work but I don't think it would be easy to figure out exactly which one you should "approach"... :D
Best of luck procuring a tkt!! |
