You should know that rue Linois is a field of ruins at the moment, because the Beaugrenelle shopping mall has been demolished (built around 1978) and is being rebuilt totally differently. The Monoprix has survived, though, and the Charles Michels end of the mall has been rebuilt, notably the McDonald's. All of the rest of the street is a demolition zone.

Right now i am about 2 weeks from being on a flight right now. Starting to get excited bout it.

At this point depeneding on the weather and how long it takes to get through security and customes at CDG and then check in at the hotel which is 3 hours after landing. Will just walk around the main streets in the 15th that are close to me and a few restaurants. But mostly just getting adjust and telling myself I am here for more then 2-3 days, I am here for a full week, so take my time.

Ok having to reduce my list of places to feed my face from next Sunday afternoon to Saturday night. Yes a bit of procrastinating, but with the large list of place I have gotten to look up from you kind folks, may take me a day or 2 to figure it our and my budget.
Will try to post my list tomorrow as it is getting late for me here and work is early..lol

This what I have come down to for possible places for lunch and dinner for my week, 2 are in museums so that is a lunch thing..lol..here we go..

Fauchon-various store..my food mecca
English Pub
Jazz Club Lionel Hampton
Versaille Palace
Cafe le Petit Pont- nostalgia reasons for me.

What do you guys think?

If weather is the way it is today and such and I hope that it's not will need some place in the area of my hotel. Staying in the 15th not far from Tower and right off the river.

You actually want us to vote on where you should go?

It looks like you will be covering a lot of territory no matter what, so my advice is to do what I do: keep your eyes open as you go around the city. You will see lots of places that intrigue you and make you want to check out for a meal. Frankly you are a lot less likely to be disappointed by a "random" choice than a

...by a "random" choice than a place that everybody says you should try but which does not appeal to you visually or where you eat and are not happy to be there.

Brasserie Balzar is a favorite of my DH. He's says a Saturday night at Balzars makes him realize he's REALLY in Paris.
