Hello
I've recently bought low wedge fabric heels by brand Arcopedia. I wore them at a week long conference in Melbourne walking approx 5 kms per day, using public trans and out to dinner post conference. They are fabric not leather so breathe well and have the most superb arch support I have ever worn. No wearing in required.
Also bought pair of ballet flats from Spanish brand Hispanitas style name Epona. Lightly elasticised, stylish, low heeled, leather, well padded and supportive possibly not to walk all day but rubber soled, flats, very light, extremely comfortable wore to dinner could walk home / public transport back to apartment with ease.
Bought both to take on Paris trip in the spring but haven't departed yet but both served me well on city trip that involved lots of walking and use of public transport and very long days on my feet.
Very much hope this is helpful to those of us who need comfort travel footwear where trainers are not appropriate
