With Airport Shuttle Problem,Can You recommend a dependable, private company for p/u at CDG?

Well, for the while it looks like the shuttle is not a viable option for me.
Has anyone been p/u by a dependable private company with a definite time and meeting place ?
In Italy last summer I took the recommendation of one of the posters and the company I contacted was absolutely the best.
This driver was invaluable to me in Italy and was reasonably priced. I am not looking to spend more than $75.00 for p/u at airport and to hotel in the 6th.
Appreciate any help you can give.
There will be 3 of us travelling.

Why wouldn't you take a cab? (Taxi Parisienne). With three people it is cheaper than a shuttle and there is no waiting.

This was posted last October--I'm thinking of using them in April (if I'm too chicken to shlep my bags to the RER).

They also have a website
www.airport-connection.com

(This is not Mark Harris' company)

Author: Harrell ([email protected])
Date: 10/14/2001, 9:17 pm ET

Message: Just returned from Paris on 10 11. We used Airport Connection, a shuttle which I booked online at www.France.com before departing the States. The service was great and they were on time picking us up for the return to CDG. The fee is 360 francs (about $56) for 2 people roundtrip or 300 francs for 1 person. They will e-mail you a confirmation with all instructions after you make the reservation. I highly recommend this service and would definely use them again.

-------
Chris, a Fodor's editor, recommended PariShuttle (www.parishuttle.com) early last year.

There's also www.airportexpress.fr
and others. Hopefully someone has had experience with these others and can advise us.
Yes, will be taking a cab if I can't find a private company for pick up. I do not want a shuttle company which picks up other people as I've heard about myriad problems. Private limo company perhaps?
Anyone know a dependable one they have USED already?
Merci

Take a taxi..no more expensive , gets you right to your hotel..and unless you hire a private driver, not a shuttle, you may just have other pasengers! Cab fare about $35.00 depending on traffic!

bob brown,
the recent posts remarking problems with shuttles in paris mainly target Airport Shuttle (yellow and blue van). Apparently, lots of financial problems, customer complaints, refusing to reimburse clients for whatever reason they cancelled their transfers for, etc.

So we took a taxi to the airport on Thursday morning and moment when we opened a door we knew it is going to be a long ride. The taxi driver did not take a shower and probably did not change his clothes for while. We kept window open but it was not acceptable. It never happend with the aiport shuttle but with so much problems we did not want to take a chance. What to do next time?
