Thanks for posting this. I had put it out of my mind, because Capitaine Train indicated tickets would only be sold through February 4, and I was traveling the following week. In fact, this morning I was able to get good prices on sncf and Trenitalia for travel through February 10.

What is terrible is that I am already thinking about trips that I can make next spring, which is frustrating because the schedules are not available and I have spring hotel discounts that are only valid if booked before October 18.

kerouac - Not sure when you plan to take the trips you're thinking about, but iDTGV tickets for voyages until April 2 are now open for sale.

The sales are open, but if you can wait until your date of departure gets closer, prices drop even more. I'm waiting another week to book my holiday.

It is true that I recently benefited from the relatively new "last minute" Prem's fares that appear in the last 3 days depending on how sales have gone. There are really quite a few of these deals available, except during the summer.
