Winter Honeymoon in France ( 5-21 Nov)
Hello there, I've visited France previously and love the city.
Though I'm really not sure what places I should visit in November ... I plan to visit Paris, Disney Land and Burgundy. Can you please advise which wineyard to stay in Burgundy and also what other places would be good in November? Would much appreciate the response and help !!! |
Not sure about November in burgundy since the grapes will already have been harvested and the vines cut back. Don;t have enough info to advice which vineyards accept overnight guests.
As for Disney - this is a no go unless you have small children you can't disappoint. It would help to know your interests to advise on where to go - but be aware that you will have short, often grey days, and chilly often rainy weather. |
Weather is often still "acceptable" in November since winter is still a month away. Yes, there is always a chance of freezing weather to prove me wrong, but this is at least one element that you shouldn't take into consideration. November is November, and I'm sure that is true even where you live.
One good thing to know since you appear to be interested in wine: the Beaujolais Nouveau is on November 19th this year. |
If you want to visit Disneyland, I believe it is open in November and you aren't required to bring small children and many people go without children and enjoy the experience. It's your trip. There are no set rules for travel.

We have been to Paris in your time period twice. We got lucky with precipitation, but mid day temperatures were fall rather than winter -- 60-70F
|
That's because November is fall rather than winter.

We had wonderful weather a few years ago in November. It made climbing the Towers at Notre Dame very nice. I can't help with Disney (not my thing).
If you enjoy food and wine, we did a tour with Paris by Mouth that was so enjoyable (especially if you love cheese). We did the St Germain tour but I feel sure that any of them would be worth while. |
It's your honeymoon, so maybe dinner or even a celebratory glass of champagne at Tour Montparnasse to see the city view.
