Wine Tasting in Neuchatel?

I was wondering if anyone could give me a tip. I will be traveling in Neuchatel
next Tuesday the 29th. I will be with a group of colleagues (9 of us
in total) and we'll finish our business that day around 1:30. I'd like to
organize a wine tasting for us that afternoon, possibly combining it with
dinner. I've also heard there maybe some dairy farms where you can see and sample cheese production....

Is there any place (cave de vin) you would recommend where I can arrange such a
thing for a reasonable price?

I appreciate your suggestions!

Hi jess_march,

The Lake Biel area has a lot of wineries, and here's a link to a wine-tasting center to help get you started: http://www.biel-seeland.ch/e/ausflue...=74&fid=32

Here's another link to the Neuchatel Tourist Office's page on cheese-making: http://www.neuchateltourisme.ch/e/wi...sic&fid=43

If you have a free afternoon, see if you can stop by the Latenium museum (reproduction of ancient Celtic tribal village) outside of Neuchatel -- it's magical!

Thank You S!

In fact, I've gone ahead and booked a tasting with the Vinoteek in Biel. Now I just need to pray that it doesn't snow as is forecast!
