Wine Harvest in MOntmartre

My wife, a friend and I will be visiting Paris next year in November during the Montmartre Harvest Festval. I would appreciate any helpful information from someone who has been to the festival. What is the parade route and is there a "best" place to watch the fireworks? This will be our first time staying in an apartment (it's on Ile Saint-Louis) so we are looking forward to that as well. We have been to Paris a number of times but this will be our friend's first trip to Paris, so we will be combining many of the must sees with a few things a little off the beaten path. Two of those will be a visit to Belleville and to the the flea market at Puces St. Ouen. Any positive comments, helpful advice, ridicule or derision would be welcome.
[I reposted this to add the France Tag, which I think I left out on the original post]. If this ends up being posted twice in the France Forum, I apologize.

they have that in October every year, don't they, not November? It's the second week in October. November is kind of late for a wine harvest (such as it is, there isn't really much of a vineyard there, but they like the festival).

They have all kinds of info on their official website with this year's program (which is over) but should give you an idea. They show the parade route also, it is here http://fetedesvendangesdemontmartre....-des-postiers/

But if you are going in November, I think you will miss it, anyway.

The Montmartre festival is in October. Here is the report I made merging together 2012 and 2013.

Sorry. I actually meant October. We are going to Paris the first week in October - not November, so ignore my post about the Christmas decorations at Galleries Lafayette. Kerouac, I should have assumed you had a post about the Harvest Festival. Christina, thanks very much for your post. That will help our planning greatly.
