Wine Bottle Stoppers
When I travel I love to pick up wine bottle stoppers from where ever we go. Last night at a friends house I saw a Venetian Winged Lion Pewter bottle stopper that I absolutely COVET! If anyone has one, or knows where I can buy one Please let me know. If you have any other unique ones I'd probably be interested too!

We also love the wine bottle stoppers and those little neck things to keep away drips.
I googled them and found quite a few, you might try that way.
I have also gotten a couple lately as gifts, made out of crystal..equally beautiful

Hi Victress, We picked up a beautiful pewter elk one, second hand, complete with horns, at London's Portobello Market for about only £5. There were so many of them but you just have to take the time to pick through the stalls. Also try the Clingancourt (sp) flea market in Paris. Good luck.

Scarlett, have you tried "Drop Stop" (a Danish product)? I found it about 5 years ago here in Europe and have been using it since then. This seems more effective than the rings and looks stylish too.

On above site, a set of 3 is NZD14.95 (how much is it in USD or in EUR?)but I paid about 3EUR for 2, I believe.

THANK YOU Lorac! That is it exactly! And yes, I have winestoppers.com bookmarked for my husbands holiday shopping. I also have a great scottish pewter site marked - as soon as I bid on ebay I'll look it up and post it.
THANKS!

I bought some really nice pewter ones at the Musee de la Marine in the Palais de Chaillot ..make great gifts too 1
Kappa..I first discovered drop stops about 8 years ago and always pick up a box or 2 when we are in the UK. I came home with 6 boxes last trip , as a companion gift with the winestoppers, and then discovered my local wineshop here in town carried them! Absolutley the only drip stopper that actually works.
I have some antique decanters that always dripped and I even use them in those!
