I can't seem to locate any reviews or photos of the place.
Appreciate any feedback...
Thanks in advance,

Thanks janis for replying. Yeah, I know it's a Christian-based hotel and conference center. I've been in contact with them and have a 'hold' on a b&b room as it's the only 'castle' within our budget, and that works with our itinerary, but I was hoping to get some feedback from someone who has actually spent the night there... I was surprised Willersley isn't even listed on TripAdvisor.

"<i>it's the only 'castle' within our budget,</i>" I would not expect a "castle experience".
Just to give you a few things to think about . . . . .
For dining all it can manage is three photographs of folded napkins, and for its "music room" you get a photo of a piano keyboard. The bedrooms are probably pretty basic since all you get are 6 nearly identical pictures of headboards/pillows/bedside tables. The rates are half board so you will have to eat two meals a day there.
Not that it is a horrible place - I have no personal knowledge. It is probably absolutely fine. But just from years of living/touring in the UK and reading hotel brochures these are things that raise some issues. It is a an attractive castle-like bldg, but it won't feel like you are staying in a castle if that is your main criteria. I just wouldn't get overly excited about it being a "castle", that's all. They say the grounds are wonderful w/ wide views, and they probably are - but all they show is one park bench.. My guess is there is nothing on TA is because it is mainly a Christian conference centre and doesn't get many "civilian" visitors.
Not saying you shouldn't stay there - just due diligence . . . . . .

We think alike! I considered most of what you pointed out, but did not realize the half-board situation. Makes sense now that the reservation contact asked if we wanted "bed and breakfast" or "bed and breakfast, dinner." The former 43 pounds and the latter 57.50 per person per night.
Other than the beautiful exterior (and perhaps interior features, as the website leaves much to the imagination), it does looks like pretty basic accommodations However, in trying to meet DH's only request regards lodging, it seems our only option.
I did consider somehow making Chatsworth (our primary reason for visiting the Peaks) a day-trip and locating a 'nicer' place that would feel more like a castle, but many of the ones I've looked up are completely out of the budget.
Not totally done looking, but I've kinda hit a wall at this point.

I wouldn't discount staying there. It is probably well kept and clean and it is in a good location. The rates aren't terrible - more than many B&Bs, but then most B&Bs aren't in Grade II listed "castles".
So - If your husband wants a castle - Willersley fits the bill -- on the outside anyway.
