Will my Garmin work in Croatia?

We will be driving in Croatia this May and are curious if the maps in current
GPS systems are up to date. We have a Garmin that worked well in England and Italy on previous trips. Any experience you can share will be helpful.

Check the Garmin website and see if your version of maps includes Croatia. If not, you'll need to buy and download the correct map.

Ours did 4 years ago. We had the standard European maps on it.

My Garmin has Europe maps and I used in Crotia. This was a few years ago and there were some BIG gaps in the coverage, but even so it worked well. (For example it couldn't find some cities, but I just picked a bigger city near there to get me in the same direction)

I expect that they have added more maps by now. I would make sure to get the latest updates!

PLEASE...GO turn ON your Garmin and see if the area/countries you want are ALREADY DOWNLOADED...

One difficulty was the voice prompts. We found them very confusing and hard to understand. Once we heard enough of the language to even come close to pronouncing a city name, the Garmin voice would butcher it even worse than we could have ever done!!
