This is simple T mobile, if the phone is capable of working in europe which you call up t mobile and verify that.

Than it takes about 2 days not months to activate it regardless of when you started your account. I did it 3 days before I went to Austria and Germany and France this year.

Buy an adapter at radio shack with a european adapter the phone is probably dual voltage mine was.

In some countries you have to hit the + sign to dial in austria and france I didnt, you just dialed the home area code and number, your caller id will also work.

When you go from country to country you will receive either a text or recorded message welcoming you to where you are on how to get help if needed.You will also be billed for these calls when u arrive home.

T Mobile is a german communication Company and is great in europe.

If you are renting a car, the car charger that comes with the T-Mobile phone works perfectly.
