Wifi service in Frankfurt

Hi,

We will be at the Messe Frankfurt for 5 days and was offered a wifi access but for a fee of 75euros for 5 days. Is this a good offer? I would've thought that there would be free wifi service within the exhibition grounds but found otherwise.

Would appreciate if anyone can suggest a cheaper option.

Thanks

Use your phone:
www.fonic.de, price is 2.50€ per day. First 5 days free, if you buy online. SIM card costs 10€ with 10€ in calls included. You will need a UMTS 2100 phone or surfstick. Buy SIM at Lidl stores.

www.tchibo.de 2.95€ per day, first 3 days free. Can also be bought with UMTS surfstick for 49,95 at any Tchibo store.

Thanks a lot...

I checked out both websites... but they lost me, both sites are in German! The English information (fonic.de) on it talks about calls and sms services in Europe & USA doesn't say anything about WIFI.

But thanks anyway...

You will need a UMTS 2100 phone or a surfstick. The fastest way if you don't have a phone, is to enter a german Tchibo store and buy the stick. This will give you high speed internet access comparable to 6mbit DSL at almost every loction in Germany.

Yes, they speak German in Germany, so that's why the sites are in German :-). But try babelfish, should give you a basic translation.

Thanks again..

Of course but most sites would have language options...was what I meant...
