Wifi
When you are out and about in Greek cities do many of the bars and cafe's have wifi available
if you pop in for a drink or a meal |
Yes, most places have wifi, just ask for the password (it's often the phone number, lol!)
|
Yes, some do.
|
Indeed most seem to have wifi. Its the hotels in more remote places where wi fi is spotty. We just go buy a drink on our first day and get the password from the nearest bar.

Thank you and yes I like to sit back with a coffee at breakfast and catch up
Then give it a rest till the evening and do another catch up over a beer Happy New Year to all |
Most places will be have wi-fi but as stanbr said some of the more out-of-the-way accommodations/places may have iffy wi-fi reception.
You can always ask your accommodations what they offer for wi-fi. Some will offer wi-fi only in public areas, others will offer them in rooms also. I try to limit time on the internet while in Greece. After all it's one of the reasons to get away from mass-media and being connected to a world that many of us would rather not be connected to. Still, it's a good way to communicate to relatives/friends back home letting them know everything is OK. |
Me too --limit internet i mean but Skype is cheap call home option
