Wien to Budapest.
Hi friends!
Planning a trip that includes going from Wien to Budapest next September. Which are the train stations we should use? The more central, the better. Thanks in advance! |

www.bahn.de/en will give you all the schedules and trains from Vienna probably only go to one station. Yes www.seat61.com has all info to book own tickets online - other sources good info trains www.budgeteuropetrave.com and www.ricksteves.com. Probably too early to book but seat61 will tell you all about that.

If not in a hurry you could also take a hydrofoil down the Danube Vienna to Budapest.

Another cheap option would be to use Flixbus!

Trains can be cheap if booked in advance and are always IME more comfy than buses but if can't get cheap train fare bus could be much cheaper and only take 3 hours.
