We are going to be in amalfitan coast for 4 days in May, is better to stay in Amalfi or in Praiano?, wich one is better for transport , hotels,restaurants, etc??

Amalfi is right on the coast and has better accesss to both ferries and the SITA bus.

And just so you're aware - these aren;t cities - they're really small towns, most perched at least partly on the side of the cliff into the sea.

Amalfi would be the better choice I think. But probably you should takje a look at Positano- it's so beautiful!I would recommend to stay there!

Amapati: No doubt,go to Amalfi,a little bigger than Praiano(no so small),a better hub for transportation both in ferry or bus(the bus to Ravello starts from Amalfi),good restaurants.If you like,you can read my long report about one week in the Amalfi Coast(we were based in Amalfi),last september; just click on my name.Have a good trip to this zone of paradise.
