Why the concern about cloths??

Seriously, why should we worry about what we're wearing when in another country(France)? Even if I am not wearing tennis shoes and shorts, I am going to stick out as a tourist, and I can speak french well. Yes, yes, I understand it is just polite to try to blend in for whatever purpose, which I always do, so don't be quick to bash me. Even though this kills me, because I get hot very easily, and I still wear pants while in Paris in the summer, sweating though. It's not like when europeans come hear they change they wardrobe and go buy shorts and Nike shoes. When it's your vacation, why can't you just be comfortable, wear what you want, and yes, look like a tourist?

Why bother correcting yourself. What do you think of us writing in a foreign language. We understand.....

No, you should not worry about what you wear. It screams tourist even from a distance and keep pickpockets away from me. It also helps me get into cathedrals quicker because those with shorts are denied entrances.
