Why is this board constantly being censored. You have deleted the post about elderly people.......which was a major joke.<BR><BR>You deleted everything about Bali? There is not a day that goes by that anything controversial gets cut out.<BR><BR>No doubt I will be forced to write a public article about the censorship. Obviously you want people to read only what you think they should read and not what people are talking about.

<BR>Ever since a few months ago Danny's had a bug up his ass. It's true the board is more travel focused ... and much more boring. It seems they would prefer to have a stupider audience so they delete anything that might remotely stir the pot.

Get over it, Question. <BR>It's not a censorship (as in "free speech") issue. It's Fodor's board. They set the rules. If you don't like the rules, don't participate. It's that simple.<BR>I am sure the Fodor's people were quivering when they read your threat to write a "public article"!

Agree that it's time to squelch "Jack's" ubiquitous posts on all the Italy threads. There are several regular posters on the Europe forum who provide good advice, are in the travel business and manage to avoid the in your face solicitation of Jack.<BR>

There were two Bali threads, one which started before the bombings, which said in the title some like "Have you been to Bali". It is gone. Maybe you are talking about the sympathy messages.

I do not mind the censoring if it is disrespectful of the readers but on many occasions I have found the censoring happening for no reasons. For example, there was a muslim asking if it is ok to travel to europe...how was that disrespectful???!

I agree that the censoring doesn't seem to make sense. For example i had read a post about music in London and how great British bands are. I was going to post a question about music tours in London for an upcoming trip and when I finally had time to post it was gone. What was so controversial about music? All this censoring will make this board boring. I agree that people shouldn't curse or be overly rude but why can't they just delete those post?

Who is it that wants to redistribute the wealth...... It is the socilalists=liberals=communists. Who is it that wants to tax us to death for any reason....the socialists=liberals=comunnists. The liberals want to control our life, the liberals want people to pay for the out of control behavior of others. The liberals like to spend other peoples money for whatever reason.
