Why is the food so much better in Italy?

Simple, very fresh ingredients, great olive oil, some of the best cheese in the world, and some of the best breads in the world. The Italians got it right a long time ago with the combination of great tomatoes, basil, olive oil, and very good crusty bread, all washed down with great red wine!
