WHY are there only 2 trains available from Milan to Venice on 6/15/09?
 

I am wondering why there are NO Eurostar trains available on June 15, 2009 from Milan to Venice! I have been checking the Trenitalia website and Italiarail website everyday and only 2 options appear for that day and the day before, however June 13th and everyday before that lists MANY more choices. Am I unaware of a holiday?

The new schedules haven't been posted yet. Since June 15, 2009 is a Monday, just plug in May 5, 2009, also a Monday, to see what the schedule will probably be.

OH - that's what I thought....but when do they post? I thought it was 60 days out? Again, I must be wrong.

For some reason they take their time posting summer schedules.

It's been like this for several years running - Italians can't get their act together to post summer timetables until just before summer timetables take effect - sometime in mid June. Like ellen said schedules rarely change but you still can't book until they come on.
