who's going to Italy in 2005 may..?

I noticed there was a post at the top of the list from the may that already happened this year, so I thought I'd start a new board for this COMING may...or even April and June. Just how about all the spring months! haha..I'll be there March 17th- June 8th...what about YOU?

hunnym Oct 28th, 2004 03:22 PM

We are! May 2-14.

And I'm addicted to this board - everyone's already been so helpful.

Carmen Oct 28th, 2004 03:25 PM

June 2005 :)

June 10-13: Rome
June 14-18: S. Tuscany (Chiusi/Montebenichi)
June 19-25: N. Tuscany (Villa NE of Florence)
June 26-28: Rapallo
June 29-30: Como
July 1-4: Venice

July 5: home to Portland, OR

Woohoo!

TexasAggie Oct 28th, 2004 03:34 PM

We will!
May 14-25 :-)
I know the Amalfi Coast is on the itinerary this time.

ms_go Oct 28th, 2004 03:38 PM

We're there! June 8-21.

Two nights in Capri, seven nights in Positano, and three nights in Naples.

If only it wasn't seven months away...

Presocia Oct 28th, 2004 05:58 PM

In Sicily 19 May - 3 June, then home to Salem, Oregon.

bobthenavigator Oct 28th, 2004 06:17 PM

Yes--yes !
Sicily for 15 days--to include Taormina, Siracusa, Agrigento, Palermo, and more. We leave 27 April.

uhoh_busted Oct 28th, 2004 06:23 PM

We usually travel in May -- this year we have no plans YET. I'm sort of thinking Bali and Singapore and Thailand...but we LOVE Italy, and if a "good deal" suddenly appeared, I think we'd grab it. SO maybe we'll be there this year :)

kismetchimera Oct 28th, 2004 06:34 PM

May 29th till June 11th Italy, then Villefranche Sur Mer, Provence and Paris..
June 25th Au Revoir Europe, Howdy Texas..

artlover Oct 28th, 2004 09:15 PM

We are...details not finalized yet, but so far plan is
May 5-8--(Seattle)--Amsterdam
May 8-15--Venice
May 15-18--Siena
May 18-25--Spain
May 26--Amsterdam--Seattle

Just talked to friends in Italy this evening (early morning their time). I will be going to Italy next May/June.
Can hardly wait!

wilees Oct 28th, 2004 10:06 PM

Sometime April-May. As part of a two month travel until I run out of money.

Maybe three weeks. Going el-budgeto.

ssachida Oct 28th, 2004 10:20 PM

ok, ok, I know I shouldn't be posting on this thread, but couldn't resist the gloat ... I leave in 19 hrs !!
Seriously though, I had so much fun planning that I'm a little afraid that the trip itself will be an anticlimax. God! it better not be.

^^awesome! Have a GREAT time! And be sure to give us a trip report back, okay?
artlover~ Thailand is beautiful in the April/May months, I was there a couple years ago then. Just gorgeous!
...I know, it is a little hard that we all do have to wait 6 and 7 months more until we go, aw well! waiting is part of the fun :D

alm0stbeautiful Oct 29th, 2004 01:36 PM

Oops, my comment wasn't to artlover, it was to uhoh_busted, sorry. haha...
but I AM from Seattle too...it's quite a long ways for us :D

Barb Oct 29th, 2004 03:25 PM

Well, here's hoping I'm there 3/17 - 24. Short trip all the way from Seattle, but who cares as long I get to spend more time in Rome!

SUNSHINE1223 Oct 29th, 2004 04:37 PM

I will be in Barcelona on the 26th where we then pick up our cruise on May 28th and will be in Rome, Naples and Florence. Back home on the 4th of June.

simpsonc510 Oct 29th, 2004 05:45 PM

I'll be there, for about 10 days, in mid April. For sure, Orvieto and Rome, but not sure of the other locales.

jd_dallas Oct 30th, 2004 04:14 PM

We fly to Rome on May 28-29 and return home on about June 9 (don't have the date handy). We have an apartment booked for a week in Montepulciano, but we haven't filled out the remainder of the trip, except that we will spend the first night and the last night in Rome.

kismetchimera Oct 30th, 2004 05:10 PM

hey jd-dallas,which airline are you taking ?I am flying to Rome the same day with AA..
