Santa Lucia is "IN Venice" (actually right at the edge, right as the causeway arrives at the islands of Venice. There is no rail station at the airport. The "other" one is Mestre - - at the point on the mainland where the causeway connects.

You want Santa Lucia - - though all trains go through Mestre to get there. It will be very obvious when you get there. You scarcely see water as you arrive at Mestre. You scarcely see land, going onward to Santa Lucia.

Best wishes,

Rex
