Indeed, Vaci utca (together with a several side streets) is the main "pedestrian area" in Budapest, but is hardly the only place worth walking (one of the others being the castle district.) The Taverna Hotel, which fronts on Vaci utca, is rated 4-stars. It's decent, and often has good rates available, but I'd not put it at the top of the 4* level. There are five 5-star hotels within 3 blocks of Vaci utca: Marriott, Hyatt, Intercontinental, Kempinski, Meridien.<BR><BR>I'm not aware that the Four Seasons in Budapest is yet ready for occupancy.<BR><BR>
