Which station for arrival in Vienna when coming from Budapest?

Which station for arrival in Vienna when coming from Budapest?
We'll be taking the train from Budapest to Vienna in May, and in looking at schedules, I see we have a choice of two stations: Wien Meidling and Wien Westbahnhof. The same train stops first at Meidling before terminating at Westbahnhof.
We're staying at the Hilton by the Stadtpark and the hotel website says they are next door to Wien MItte. Which station (Meidling or Westbahnhof) is best for arrival? Could we then connect to another train or subway to get to Wien MItte easily? Thanks in advance for advice!

You can take the S-Bahn from Meidling to Wien Mitte.
These suburban trains depart from the overground platforms, the same level your train from Budapest will arrive, so don't follow signs for U-Bahn (subway).
Directions will vary as lines share platforms/ tracks. To make it easier, just go to platform 1/2 and take any train departing from either track. As line works and renovations can occur any time, it's wise to ask staff or other people on the platform if it's the right one for Wien Mitte.
As Meidling will be your first stop, this should be the fastest option.
Alternatively, stay on the train until Westbahnhof and take U-Bahn/subway U3 direction Simmering to Wien Mitte.
Don't forget to "stamp" tickets for local transport at the entrance of platforms or stations before you board a subway or S-Bahn.
The Hilton is indeed next door to Wien Mitte station.
