Which Rome apartment?

Hi guys,
I am going to be in Rome in mid August with my partner and 13 yr old, I have narrowed my search to near the Navona/Pantheon area, and have decided I would rather an apartment so we have some extra space to chill.

I am looking some options on http://www.rentalinrome.com - has anybody used this company?
One apartment is nearer to Campo De Fiori and I have heard that while this is lovely during the day (we would def enjoy the market I think) that it gets very rowdy at night? We do love an area with a good atmosphere (In Paris we picked St Germain and loved having so many places to eat/cafes close at hand)

The other one is nearer the Pantheon, what do you think?

I have also heard that the places to eat near the Campo are over priced and too touristy? By staying in this area, which is great during the day are we away from the best places to eat in the evenings? I know both options are close to each other so many another area would be better?
All advice very welcome:)

These places are just a few blocks apart from each other, so not a significant difference either way. Looks like the Campo apt is not directly on the campo, so probably not a noise issue, though others more familiar with the city may know better than I. The general area of both these places is excellent, though... Very easy to walk to most of the major sites and many restaurants (you are not limited to just those in the campo. Easy walk to Trastevere or other areas). So in other words, the location of either apt is very good. I would base your decision on other factors (amenities, price, etc). Have a great time in Rome!

We used Rental in Rome last year, staying in a terrific 2 br apartment on via Montserrato (near Campo de Fiori)

The company was great to deal with - had a real-time on-line chat while I was sorting out best apartment for us and booking. Website has great photos / videos clips of all apartments - we certainly found description and photos of "our" apartment to be accurate.

This is where we stayed: http://www.rentalinrome.com/campodef...ricalapartment

It was an easy walk to everywhere in Central Rome, and with a small supermarket just around the corner, it was also easy to self-cater - saving money and for relaxed evenings when we were exhausted after our big days.

We also ate in Piazza Navona one night, and our last night at "Vergilio" in Campo de Fiori - price was reasonable, food was good and we had a terrific night - the staff were great fun - might have had something to do with us having 18 and 20yo daughters with us though!
