To the last poster: I always enjoyed those Seinfield conversations when someone would go on and on about THEIR current dilemma and the person "listening" returns with musing over whether or not their split-ends need a trim up. Everybody wants to talk about their stuff, not your stuff.

Luckily, there are still a lot of good listeners here.

The responses that bug me the most are the mean-spirited ones. A thread will be going along nicely and then, almost always, someone in need of anger management sessions chimes in with a put-down. I suppose this also is to be expected.

Do you think the registration had eliminated some problems mentioned in this thread? Profanity, yes, it's disappeared. Other then that... it's all the same.

I think the new guy who took Danny's place is doing the house cleaning. I was reprimanded for calling some posters, "pompous a****.

and above is the new lexie or whatever the other names were, who likes reviving old threads or asking provocative questions, but who doesn't exchange any travel information
he/she does do a nice job of 'wondering' though, and thanking people for their input

Cigale, so what's the problem, dear? Just call them "pompous front" instead of "pompous behind"!
