Which Paris Hotel???

Hello,
I need to decide quickly which hotel to pick in Paris. My husband (we're both in our late 20's) and will be there on 15 May - 19 May. We need to stay in the 85 - 115 E range in a good location for first-timers. There are a lot of hotels already booked up, so here's what I have so far:

Hotel Saint Andre Des Arts
Hotel Cluny
Hotel Bersoly's St. Germain
Hotel De Villas
Hotel College Du France
Hotel trois colleges

Any advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated!!!

have you done any searches (on this website or tripadvisor.com) on these hotels to get reviews?

My first time in Paris I did indeed stay at the Hotel St. Andre des Arts.
It was fine for me. I actually liked it...but it is funky. The building is very old, as well...ancient begets a bit of funk.
Some active night light out the door and to your right... a terrific cafe out the door and a couple blocks to the left... big intersection.
I liked its central location.

If College de France has availability, go for it NOW.

St Andre des Arts - sounds more like a 1*
Bersoly's - bad reviews on Tripadvisor
DeVillas - recently renovated, but just a tad off-center for 1st time sightseeing
Cluny - is that Hotel Cluny Square? on a busy street,up one flight of stairs
- if it's Cluny Sorbonne, then that's the 2nd choice to book
Trois Colleges - mixed reviews on TA

Thanks everyone. I was leaning towards Hotel Cluny, but the only room they have for me has 2 twin beds instead of a double. Becuase the hotel seemed so great, I was thinking we could push the 2 beds together. Hey - we're still newlyweds anyway... maybe sharing a twin won't be too bad! :)

I have read the user reviews on Tripadvisor, and Travelnut, I got the same idea really. I was just looking for some more personal expreience. And yes, it is Hotel Cluny Sorbonne.

I thought that De Villas looked like a great value, but would rather be more centrally located.

the only reason I asked about what research you had done, is that some people like to see that you have attempted to research and get information before posting your question.

We really like Hotel Muguet.

I second the Muguet. Great little hotel. Convenient. Some good eateries close by. Very popular, though, and probably booked. But, you never know. I had to cancel at the last minute a few years ago when my flight was cancelled.

If you're limited to that list, I would pick the College de France. But I'd be very surprised if they still have rooms for May 15. I tried last month to book a room for September and the two rooms I wanted were already booked.

She posted on TA that she booked at College de France...
