Which One-Paris Shuttles?

If you took a shuttle recently-July or August 2009, from CDG to your hotel or Hotel to CDG, please respond.
Shuttle-Inter? Blue Van? Yellow Shuttle Van?
dependability? COST for two? cdg pick up point? pre pay OR upon service?
Thank you

Ours was organized through the apartment rental service. The coordinator met us right outside of baggage claim and escorted us to the car (~100m, if that). For 4 people, CDG to apt, apt to CDG was $200US RT pre-paid.

Ooops, I meant to say 200E, not $200US.

I love shuttle-inter. It is a private car just for you. And there is no need to make a phone call on arrival, they are waiting with a card with your name on it. The price is about the same as a taxi but there is no meter running, so if you're held up in traffic it doesn't cast more. They were very reliable on our return to the airport showing up a few minutes before schedule

I used shuttle-inter in May 09. Very reliable and good service. I think it was 55 euros from CDG to my hotel in the Latin Quarter.

I was thinking to make a reservation with this company when I arrive in Orly.

Usually I take a cab but I will arrive in the afternoon ,therefore I dont want to take a chance with the traffic.

Hi fw,

If you go to their respective websites all of your questions, except dependability, will be abnswered.

IME all shuttles are equally dependable. It all depends on the vagaries of the day.

If there are two people it is close to a wash in cost to just step outside to take a taxi.
If the 200E was for two people, someone made a lot of money.
I much prefer to taxi--no phone call, no wondering if I'm at the right place. Step outside to the taxi queue and tell the guy if I need a taxi for two (Or 4, as has often been the case). Have an address written down, and a map. It is about 50E including tip and luggage charges.
Same for return to CDG--ask the desk to order a cab for the correct time.

The OP said it was for four people, but it's still a lot of money (100 euro each way). It wouldn't have been too bad if it were USD, but still no bargain.

€200 is crazy given that the taxi charge for the fourth passenger is €2,60.
