Which 'Notre Dame' Hotel?
Hi,
There is more than one 'Notre Dame' hotel. Which is the best one for location and the dollar? |
The one that's located on rue Maitre Albert is cheaper than the one that's on the quai.
I think there are at least three with similar names, and probably more with "Notre Dame" in the name somewhere.
Hotel de Notre Dame Hotel de la Tour Notre Dame Hotel le Notre Dame are three I'm thinking of, also Hotel les Rives de Notre Dame. |
BTW, Hotel les Rives de Notre Dame is one of the few 4* hotels in the 5th district. That one would be the most expensive hotel with 'Notre Dame' in its name.
We have stayed frequently in the one on Rue Maitre Albert. Rooms run from about 90 to 150 euros, I think, and are typically small but clean and with nice decor. They recently added a new, cute, bright breakfast room and Dominique, the bustling proprietress is an absolutely gem.
Is there a specific one you've heard about that you are most interested in or are you somply interested in choosing a hotel with "Notre Dame" in the name?
No, A friend atayed at one of the "Notre Dames', but couldn't remember which one. We are now thinking it was Le HOtel de Notre Dame.
It's pretty confusing. If it's the Hotel de Notre Dame then it's the hotel that's located on rue Maitre Albert. If it's their sister hotel, Hotel Le Notre Dame, then that one is located on Quai St. Michel. The cheaper one is Hotel de Notre Dame.
