Which Mediterranean Cruise to choose?

After deciding to not take a Baltic cruise (which included St Petersburg) in June due to the Ukraine situation, we are now considering the Celebrity Silhouette 11 night (Venice, Dubrovnik, Rome, Naples, Split) or the 11 night Celebrity Reflection (Rome, Istanbul, Santorini, Athens) The prices are the same. I hate hot weather and both of these cruises would be the last week in June til July 5.
Which of these itineraries would be less hot?

They'd all be hot to me but you will be cooler in locations on the water which means cruise #1. I thought Rome was too hot at the end of May.

Neither. I am not sure why the Ukraine situation would impact your Baltic cruise. It is a few hundred miles away and would have no impact.

If you want to stay cool then stay with the Baltic cruise. Neither cruise would be much different temp wise. Both could be very hot especially when ashore.

Nobody is going to go to war with Russia over Ukraine, and in any case it is at the other end of the country. Prudence is good, but this is overkill. If you hate hot weather (me too!) neither routing will suit you, unless you plan to spend all your time on the boat., and probably not then.

You might get more specific feedback by going to the "Cruises" Forum. Many of us here don't do cruises.

Stick with your first pick. The problem areas are a whole lot closer to Turkey and the Black Sea than in the North Sea.

You can cruise the Mediterranean anytime. You have to tour the North Sea May to September to keep the temperatures reasonable.
