I think I mentioned this somewhere, but maybe not on this thread. We had lunch at Metropole's outdoor restaurant when we checked in, because we were starved, and wanted something fast. It was simple, but very good. It turned out to be the best meal we had in Liguria, despite the fact that we went to three other restaurants that had been positively recommended to us. I'm not sure how much your should draw from a single quick meal that I ate theree years ago...

I did have the free breakfast buffet several times. That was fantastic - the best buffet of its kind that I've ever had.
