Message: I am having trouble deciding between these to accomodations in Rome. As for the price it is only a five euro difference. I am just concerned about neighborhoods. I heard near the train station is shady, and a bit touristy. I am favoring the neighborhood of the Antiqua B/B, Traveserste.
What do you think ?

I'd much rather stay in Trastevere than near Termini! Great neighborhood for dinners in the evening, even if it is across the river from major sites.

Second in agreement with no hotel near the train station if you have a good choice.

I recently returned from Rome and stayed near Termini. I found the neighborhood to be fine. I had heard that it was a neighborhood in change. The change is for the better.
