Which hotel in Rome in May narrowed down to two

Should we stay at the Hotel Stendhal or the Grand Hotel de La Minerve? We are older couple who like to walk, but not too far.

If your budget extends to the Minerve, go for it. It's a far better, more convenient and more charming location.

I haven't stayed at either hotel but the location of the Minerve is tops in my book, and since you say you "like to walk but not too far," the Minerve would be my pick.

Thank you so much. I booked the Minerve and by paying now I received a discount and breakfast!

Breakfast is normally 31 euro pp, so if it's included, that's a nice little perk. I stayed there a few weeks ago, and enjoyed the hotel. IMO, the location is perfect, and it's a 10 minute walk to Della Palma, home of the best gelato in town. Enjoy.
