All's not lost,at least we're rid of Joan.

We are not rid of Joan- I answered a question in the USA forum (someone wanted info on hostels in USA) and she was there with a full expose, never answering the question, of course!

Some of you people are mean -- the poor lady is just looking for some quick help. But, it does bring up an issue for me. I'm bald as a cue ball -- what should I put down ?? thanks.

I just applied for my passport today and put auburn on my passport. The guy at the post office changed it to brown which I thought was a little presumptuous. This whole Joan thing is getting a little old, can't we all just kiss and make up?

From the State Department...

Q:Do I need to take a new photo if I recently dyed my hair a new color or grew a beard?

A:New photos are only required if your appearance has significantly changed from what is in your photo. Growing a beard or coloring your hair would not constitute a significant change. If you can still be identified from the photo in your current passport or visa application, you do not need to apply for a new passport or submit a new photo for your visa application. However, you may have to apply for a new passport or submit a new photo for your visa application if you have:
-Undergone significant facial surgery or trauma
-Added or removed numerous/large facial piercings or tattoos
-Undergone a significant amount of weight loss or gain
-Made a gender transition

I'm impressed that someone could resurrect a thread from 15+ years ago!

donald_newger is likely younger than this thread

(What on earth did he google to find this thread?? And what about it was so compelling he decided to register and top it? )
