Would like to be in city centre area, close to shops, bars, etc. Do you have any thoughts to the following hotels or have any recommendations of your own?

HOTEL ISAACS

PARLIAMENT Hotel
Grafton Capital Hotel
Trinity Capital
Mercer Hotel
Hartcourt Hotel

When are you planning to go to Dublin? I am staying at the Trinity Capital in June. I can't comment on it yet but would be glad to give you info afterwards.

We have stayed at the Georgia house a couple of times. We liked it, walking distance to Grafton street.

When visiting Dublin I always stay at the Grafton Capital Hotel. It is very central and also has a nightclub attached which can be good fun. Have a good trip Ice

We've never stayed in any of these. The best area to stay in Dublin is south of the Liffey in the St Stevens Green area. This is the area of the city that is dominated by the Georgian row houses and is close to Trinity College and Merriam square.

Just got back from Ireland on Monday (6/2). We stayed at the Brooks Hotel (off Drury Street). Great location (just off of Temple Bar), clean, great staff, and a good price ($120/nt for 2)

Thanks for your suggestions! We ended up booking at St. Stephen's Green Hotel (an O'Callaghan Hotel) b/c of a special they were running. Would have loved to have stayed at Brooks Hotel, but it was way more expensive than "wiggum" quoted.
Thank you again! And if anyone has any comments about the St. Stephens Hotel, let me know!
