Which daytrip from Tallinn -- eastern or western Estonia?

I'm going to be on vacation in Tallinn in early September, and following the recommendation in jrjcollins' wonderful 2012 trip report (title "Four Days in Tallinn, Estonia"), I want to do a day trip through EstAdventures (http://www.estadventures.ee/).

I'm looking for advice on which trip to take; the details of the three that fit my schedule are below. I am more interested in people & society, and less interested in pure nature. I like small towns, scenery, history (especially 20th century, but also older). I mainly want a sense of what the rest of Estonia "looks" like. I am guessing that the Eastern or Western trip would suit me more than the Lahemaa trip, but all advice is welcome.

Eastern Adventure: http://www.estadventures.ee/eastern-...r-estonia.html
Visits: Aaspere Manor, Toolse Castle, Vihula Manor, Rakvere Castle, Purtse fortified manor house, Kiviõli.

Western Wonders: http://www.estadventures.ee/western-...-day-tour.html
Visits: Padise Monastery, Haapsalu Castle, Haapsalu Promenade, Ungru Manor and Air Base, Koluvere Castle. Laitse Castle

Lahemaa National Park: http://www.estadventures.ee/lahemaa-...-day-tour.html
Visits: Rebala Bronze Age Graves, Kiiu Tower, Viru Bog Trail, Palmse Manor Estate, Altja Fishing Village, Käsmu Captain's Village, Jägala Waterfall

Hi, Tahl. Thank you for your kind words about my trip report on Tallinn. I would suggest that you email Andrew, the owner, who was also our tour guide. He's very personable and would be the best person to advise you if he knows your interests. Enjoy Tallin!

Janet, I took your advice and emailed Andrew. His response was that the Lahemaa trip, too, has some of the features I like. So, more choices for me, rather than fewer. I think I'll probably do Lahemaa, and also, separately, their "How Beer Made Tallinn" history walk / pub crawl. Can't wait!

I forgot to mention another piece of advice that Andrew at Est Adventures gave me. I love languages, and had mentioned I was hoping to learn a few words of Estonian. (I've been studying some Finnish, but hadn't found Estonian resources.)

He directed me to this online course in Estonian:
