Which beach in Nice?

We are staying in Nice for a week in August. Which beaches are worth going to?

Thanks

The beaches in Nice are made up of smooth flat rocks. You can rent lounge chairs or lay right on them.

20 mins by train to Cannes the main beach is huge and has great sand.

We enjoyed both!

Antibes has a small sand beach, two minutes walk from the train station.

Glenn, we just returned from the Riviera. Juan Les Pins was very crowded with tourists. The street running along the beach is narrow which makes it seem even more packed with cars, people, souvenir shops, etc.

There is a long, scenic, wider beach area along the coast at Menton which is not far from Nice. The shops and restaurants are across a wider street than at Juan Les Pins so you don't feel as if everything and everyone is crowding you. Some restaurants have tables and chairs on the beachside sidewalk - convenient for getting a cold drink or something to eat.

Have a great trip!

If you are looking for a beach in nice go the the Lido Plague, great food, great service, they even have a cool deck that extends over the water.
