Which airport - Heathrow versus Gatwick
Hi all: I have to arrange a trip to Brighton. My question is: since she will be taking a train from London to Brighton, would it be better for her to fly into Heathrow or Gatwick? As long as I am here, could anyone suggest the appropriate train station to travel to Brighton? Many thanks.

The station at Gatwick airport has 5 trains an hour direct to Brighton, taking between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the number of intermediate stops. There are no direct trains from Heathrow to Brighton.
Although that seems open and shut, it may depend on where she is coming from, etc.

Do you mean she is flying in and then immediately going straight on to Brighton? If so, Gatwick is the only one that makes sense. She would take the train straight to Brighton from LGW w/o going into London at all.
OR - do you mean she is flying into London and then later on going to Brighton? If that's the case, the airport makes no difference at all because she can take a train from London to Brighton.
