Which airlines fly between Milan (Lin) and Venice
 

Need help in finding flights between Milan (Lin) and Venice!

We flew from Milan to Venice on Alitalia (this was about 4 years ago). We booked from the US to Venice. I think we were on Continental - and for the Milan-Venice leg (we nearly missed the connection!) the flight was on Alitalia (very pleasant).

No doubt there's a good reason why you want a flight, but the distance is short enough that the train seems a reasonable option.

Althom is correct, Alitalia flies non-stop, however I agree with Will - why not take the train? Its cheaper!

Thanks, Good Idea! How far is the train station from the airport in Milan? What would be the best way get there, Taxi? Would we be able to get someone to put our luggage on the train?

You take the bus from the airport to Milano Centrale and the train to Venezia San Lucia.

There are many folks hanging around the station who would be pleased to help. Don't give them more than 1E per bag.

You can also take the train which will take roughly 2 to 3 hours if you get on a local. Once arriving in Venice Marco Polo Airport, it is a little hard getting to the city after 10 PM (water taxis stop and same with the vaporetto). At the Venice train stop, the N vaporetto is running off hours.

I believe most of the flights from Alitalia go from Malpensa MXP, also.
