Where would you stay on the champagne trail?
We want to spend two days in a comfortable, reasonable hotel on the champagne trail (100€ range). Where would you suggest? We were sold on Etoges until we found they require you to eat your meals there as we would like to dine at Les Cepages one night. I haven't found anything in the Reims or Epernay searches that jumps out.

I stayed at a Bed and Breakfast just north of Rheims travelling towards Soissons. It was a farm in St. Michel. We used this as a base for the area and enjoyed it immensely. Rheims is an intersting town, as is Epernay.

There are two places in Reims in your price range.
www.grandhotelcontinental.com
www.ebc.fr/hotel-univers
My favorite there is www.hotel-crystal.fr
