Where would you go with 7 nights available in Andalucia?

We will be flying from Rome to Valencia, Spain late on Friday night on Oct. 5. We plan to go down to the Mar Menor area (off the coast from Murcia) to spend the weekend with our son that is exchanging a semester at the Spain Air Force Academy at San Javier. We plan to leave that area early Monday morning (Oct. 8) and head for Granada. We will have 7 nights available for southern Spain, and need to end up in Sevilla as our daughter and son-in-law fly out from Sevilla very early on Sunday, Oct. 14 for their teaching jobs in Thailand, and my husband and I plan to head towards Madrid at the same time for a flight back to Texas on Tuesday, Oct. 16,

So,,,,, those of you that have traveled this area... where/what would you do/go for 7 nights and how long would you stay in each place where you ended in Seville?

Thanks so much for your valuable input!

Forgot to also say that driving time from San Javier to Granada is 3.5 hours so we will not arrive Granada until around lunchtime on Monday. Also, trying to figure out to drop car in Granada as it appears parking is a cost and problem.

Good idea to drop the car in Granada. I would perhaps have stayed two days in Granada, and then gone by bus or train to Córdoba, once the most advanced city in the western world: http://www.andalucia.com/cities/cordoba.htm

Spend two days here and end up in Sevilla, the undisputed queen of the cities in the south for the three last days. Just 50 min from Córdoba with the high speed AVE train. Buy tickets in advance on renfe.com and save some 50%. About Sevilla: http://www.exploreseville.com/

And there is of course vibrant Málaga city by the sea.

And Nerja is a nice little town by the sea, some 90 mins by bus from Granada: http://www.nerjatoday.com/

We did an eight night trip to Andalucia in March. We did 2 nights in Granada, 2 nights in Cordoba and 4 nights in Seville. It was fabulous - you could take one night from any of those locations and it would work. Here is a link to my trip report:

Well I posted the title wrong - we only have 6 nights, no 7 nights so what would you pick?

I would do 2 nights Granada, 1 night Cordoba and 3 nights Seville OR 2 Granada and 4 Seville and either do Cordoba as a daytrip from Seville or stop there on your way from Granada to Seville. The train will stop there anyway.
