In Verona, probably infront of the beautiful Arena with tears in my eyes. My husband and I (both from the North-east of England) married in Verona in '99, so it is a very special place for us. A big HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all. xxx

Dianna: Wish I had better news for you from Texas but we're in the middle of a cold spell. It's been in the 30's for the low in Houston. But thankfully, the days are beautiful! Enjoy youself down here and try not to pick up on the "y'all", once it's in your system, it's there to stay. (Coming from a fellow-but-former-Ohioan)

Mine will be outside the former painter Edvard Munch's house and atelier at Ekely in Oslo. My wife and I live on his former premises together with a bunch of artists. The New Year asssembly to watch and also send fireworks is a nice tradition, with frozen champagne for cheering. Happy new year Bjorn, Oslo, -15 degrees Celsius
