Where to store luggage in Nice, France
Hello,
We will be in Nice this summer for a couple of nights, and will then move to Antibes. Unfortunately, due to closures, there are 2 museums we want to visit in Nice on the same day that we will be heading to Antibes (the are both closed the day before and we will arrive too late the day before that). We are staying an airbnb aparment. I emailed the owner asking if we could store our luggage that day, but am not hopeful, and I read in Rick Steve's book that there is no luggage storage at the train station in Nice.
Any ideas as to what we can do with our luggage that day? We are traveling with our 9 year old twins and want to visit the Chagall and Matisse museums.
Thank you!
Daria

A few years ago the Tourist Office of Nice - right next to the train station stored bags - hotels may have odd hours of opening so if using them for a baggage depot make sure they will be there when you need them.

Shoot them an email or phone them with your question- baggage storage must be a common demand next to the main train station.

Thank you, I will! PalenQ, did you store your luggage at the Train Station Tourist Office? I looked at the website and didn't see that mentioned. But, I sent them an email asking. Thanks again.

daria- that was several years ago and the station lockers had just closed due to nationwide security threats so I think the T.O. may have been a stopgap solution but yes they should know where - hotels are fine but again hours can not be.

The Nice station must be the largest station in France without baggage storage? Most large stations have airport-like security at their baggage lockers - seems in Nice the station is too small to accommodate that?
