Where to stop for the night between Porto and Carvoeiro?
 

Will be driving from Porto in mid September on our way to Carvoeiro. Then drive to Lisbon and drop the car. Looking for suggestions of where to take an overnight. The towns I'm thinking of stoping is Coimbra, Tomar and overnight in Cascais. I thought Cascais as it's seems to be halfway to Carvoeiro.

We could stop over at Nazare or Obidos for lunch?

Looking for suggestions on how best to break up the drive with an overnight, but where?
