Where to Stay within Walking Distance to St. Remy town?

Hi All - Still finalizing my trip details for France and am supposed to leave in a couple of weeks - what am I thinking!?

In any case, was hoping to get some recommendations for a charming B&B, hotel, mas, inn, etc in St. Remy which is within walking distance to the town area so that we can easily walk to restaurants, etc. at night. Will be in St. Remy for at least 3 nights - possibly 5.

I was looking at Mas Carcassins (which is booked), Mas Cornud which is available but seems to be on the "outskirts" of St. Remy, Fragrance B&B which seems very inexpensive (90E??), but I can't find it on TripAdvisor or in the guidebooks, have looked at others in the guidbooks, but not always easy to tell which are within walking distance of town.

Any suggestions? A pool would be nice...Thanks all!!

We stayed two nights here (room 8), last month:

It's every bit as nice as it looks in the photos, and just a block from the ring road. Perfect for wandering into town.

The room and bathroom were huge and very comfortable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

How about the Hôtel Gounod? It's right IN St-Rémy and it has a lovely restaurant. Don't know about a pool.

We loved Chateau des Alpilles. The distance was an easy walk, however, it was a bit pricey.

Thanks everyone! Does anyone know anything about La Maison de Francoise in St. Remy? It is # 8 on TripAdvisor, but it is not mentioned in any guidebook that I can find...It looks like it is 400m from St. Remy - I think located on 60 avenue Albert Schweitzer. I am trying to figure out if this is a "full service" hotel/inn or just a place where you can rent a room/house. This is my first time in Provence, so I'm sure we'll need some help with directions, reservations, etc. and with that said, I think more of a full service place would be better for us. Just curious if anyone knows about this place...

Having availability issues with the other recommendations posted - this is what happens when you wait until the last minute Thanks all...
