Where to Stay in the city for 1 night

We are going to be on a tour , but will be extending 1 night, April 12. What is a good area to stay in, that will be close to some of the main tourist attractions, but will also have good access to the airport? We are looking for a hotel room in the price range of
$ 100-150 per night.

Assuming you mean Istanbul, and since you will only have one night, DEFINITELY stay in the Sultanhamet area. That's where you'll find hotels in your price range, too. You'll be walking distance to Topkapi Palace, The Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia, the Basilica Cistern and more.

Pick a place that is very close to the Blue Mosque, there are plenty of places for all budgets.

We loved our stay at the Aren Suites in Sultanhamet. Excellent price, great service, clean, updated room, great breakfast, the best location for tourists in Istanbul.

We travel internationally several times a year with our children, so price, convenience, cleanliness and comfort are very important to us...

Empress Zoe is a charming little hotel in Sultanhamet, I stayed at awhile back.

I agree with one night stay in the old part of the city.

On my last trip I rented an apartment via the Armada Hotel, I am not recommending you do that for one night but I did see their hotel (I had breakfast there) and it is quite nice if you want a larger hotel experience. Breakfast was unbelievable - an enormous, delicious buffet and the views from the roof are breathtaking. The location is in a residential area just a short walk to the Blue Mosque.
