where to stay in SANTA MARGHERITA LIGURE
 

Any ideas where my husband and I should stay in san margherita ligure?I would like a very nice,charming place.

We finally ended up with reservations at the Nuova Riviera which is just a few blocks off the waterfront. The waterfront hotels seemed expensive, especially when I have to get two rooms traveling with teens. You can look at Trip Advisor for reviews.

What time of year and what is your budget?

We just stayed at the Hotel Alberto Fasce. It is a 2 star hotel and the triple that we had was really nice and clean. The lady at the front desk and the bellman that helped with our bags were great. They also have off street parking for an extra charge.

WE ARE GOING IN MARCH.... I'd like to ge a room for under $250. Is it too cold to enjoy the riviera at this time of year?

Fred It was beautiful in late Dec. The triple cost $150E inclusive of breakfast and parking.

Im partial to the Metropole with the rooms that have a water view. Owned by the Chiana family hotel group. You ought to be able to get a great rate in March. This is a high 3 star.
